Here at Clucking Homestead we do things a bit differently...

Our puppies are evaluated at 6/7 weeks of age and placed with a family based on what that family is looking for in a dog. We want our dogs and families to truly get what the are expecting and wanting in a new fur member. 

Our puppies are sent home at 9 weeks of age.

Each litter we produce is planned and based on temperament, health, and structure.

- Temperament we strive for is intelligent, outgoing, and loyalty. We want all of our dogs to be biddable, resilient, and loving towards their family. 

- Health is one thing we strive to achieve greatness in. All of our dogs are health tested for common breed genetic diseases. We also certified hips, elbows, eyes, patellas, and thyroids through Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. Our dogs information goes into OFA to better understand genetic diseases on companion animals.  

- Structure we strive for is built off of the AKC Standard as well as functionality.  We want our dogs to move effortlessly!
